Fran is out front on the deck unpacking boxes when a familiar face rides up on a white horse in full cowboy gear — it's Sassafras Oscar Sasquatch, S.O.S. himself. Fran looks up and smiles. "Hi Sas!" she calls out. He's heard there's a job opening — and he wants it. Fran doesn't hesitate. "Absolutely — want a job?" And just like that, confetti rains down from the sky. Some entrances just call for it.
Episode 2 — The Fran & Sas Cooking Show
The table is set, the Everyday Shoppe products are on display, and Sas has arrived in his Gingiber apron and 10-gallon cowboy hat ready to cook. His enthusiasm for the apron is... a lot. Fran takes it all in stride.
Episode 3 — Live at The Shoppe
While Fran helps a customer discover the new Angotti tote bags, Sas takes the stage — literally — in full cowboy regalia, serenading his two-woman audience with an original tune: "Welcome to the Everyday Shoppe, where country charm is always in stock." Fran nods. She's used to it.
Episode 4 — We Ship Direct
Orders are flying in and The Everyday Shoppe is in full shipping mode — boxes everywhere, tape guns blazing. Fran calls out: "Hey Sas, where are you? I need more tape!" Suddenly, Sas pops up from behind a towering pile of outgoing boxes, tape gun raised — with a strip of tape stuck to his chin. Meanwhile, a guitarist quietly serenades two customers in the background, completely unbothered by the chaos. Just another day at The Everyday Shoppe.
Episode 5 — Father's Day with Fran & Sas
The rumble of a John Deere tractor announces Sas's arrival before he even comes into view. He pulls up to The Everyday Shoppe in his 10-gallon hat, wearing his I Love Father's Day t-shirt, trailer hitched behind him and loaded to the brim with new Father's Day gifts for the store — accompanied by his faithful beagle puppy Bentley. As Sas backs the tractor and trailer up to the store, Fran steps out and says: "You made it!" Sas replies: "In one piece!!" Then Sas proceeds to share the Breaking News of the day from downtown: "Did you hear about the dad that got kicked out of the bakery for telling crumby jokes?" Fran looks bewildered.
Love this beeswax wrap - perfect for my sourdough loaves. Helps keep them fresher longer and I don’t have to use plastic bags.
